Playform offers an innovative integrated solution that allows players and coaches alike to monitor and improve their players' performances and skills and which can be further used by scouts in their search for talent and players of interest.
“The world of sports is fundamentally competitive. Every athlete—especially when they are young—has the desire to improve and succeed.”
Operating on the basis of this premise, we have worked alongside a carefully selected group of leading professionals to create a unique platform which integrates a set of Mental, Physical, and Technical tests (called MPT) for young soccer players across the world.
Our core mission is to encourage youth to play sports, stay active and reveal their true potential, as well as giving them the capacity to consistently improve. Thus, we developed a unique technology that measures the players while they carry out a series of tests, suggests real-time feedback and produces stats and performance data.
It was of prime importance for us to alter the equation that was developed by the soccer players of the 2000s: “More time in a virtual field and less time in the real world.” We want to readdress the balance back towards the real world whilst utilizing a simple technology that was readily accessible to everyone.
Studies have shown that this equation can lead to the gradual deterioration of soccer players’ abilities. Playform decided not to make the next generation of players choose between a virtual and a real pitch, but rather to combine the two together. Concern for the next generation led us to unite these two different worlds.
Using a smartphone, the player can get a score for the exercise that they have completed.
The player can monitor where they rank relative to other players and more easily identify the areas where they need to improve.
Soccer clubs, agents, and scouts can use player rankings to make informed decisions more easily when looking to identify players of interest.
Tested parameters: Agility, Explosiveness, Speed, Shooting Accuracy, Passing Accuracy, Shot Strength, and Dribbling.
